Rosemary & lemon Italian pork sausage burger on toasted ciabatta with garlic mayo.


Burger: makes 4
400g fresh Italian sausage.
1 sprig of rosemary chopped
Juice & zest of 1 lemon
1 clove of garlic finely chopped
70g approx of fresh bread crumbs
2 egg yolks.

For mayo:
100g mayo
3 cloves of garlic
Small bunch of chopped parsley
(blend all the ingredients)


1. For the burgers mix all the ingredients in a bowl & shape into 4 burgers.
There is no more seasoning required as the sausages have been seasoned when made.
2 Pan fry the burgers on both sides approx 7 min a side.
3 Place one half of the toasted ciabatta roll on a plate and smooth on a little of the garlic mayo. Add the burger & then the other half of the ciabatta roll again smooth some garlic mayo on the ciabatta before placing on top.
4 Feel free to add different toppings like sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions sliced beef tomato, roasted peppers etc.
Serve with a side salad or a beer!!!
